Bravo Launch Party for Double Exposure

Last night, we attended the Bravo launch party for their new show, “Double Exposure”. Taking place at the stunning Angel Orensanz Foundation, it was hosted, of course, by the stars of the new show, Markus Klinko and Indrani.

The interior was decorated by stunning pieces designed by the duo, including two Lady Gaga pieces where she had “Hello Kitty” eyes. But my favorite piece, I have to admit, was a Christopher Walken piece where he’s holding a snarling wolf on a chain. Yep, that definitely appealed to me!

Seen at the event were Bravo’s Andy Cohen, Alex McCord, Simon van Kempen, Ramona Singer and Mario Singer from the Real Housewives of New York, Caroline Manzo from the Real Housewives of New Jersey, Kelly Cutrone from Kell on Earth, pop diva Kristine Elezaj, and Derek Warburton from Derek Loves Shopping.

CNN in America: Gary and Tony Have A Baby

This week, we had the amazing opportunity to preview the CNN in America documentary, “Gary + Tony Have A Baby”. The event was hosted by GLAAD, and the documentary was reported by Soledad O’Brien, who introduced the piece and interviewed Gary Spino and Tony Brown, the two parents featured in the documentary.

It was an absolutely stunning and wonderful documentary that followed Gary Spino and Tony Brown in their quest to have a child together. It was beautiful and heartwarming, and I strongly encourage everyone to watch this!

It’s scheduled to premier June 24th at 8 PM ET/PT on CNN.

These are the kind of stories that we need and want to see on television, so show your support by watching it and telling others about it!

Grange Event hosted by Derek Warburton!

This past Monday, Joseph and I attended a lovely event at the amazing Grange showroom hosted by Derek Warburton of Derek Loves Shopping. It was a delightful event with cocktails by Cabana (Go, Brazil!) There were beautiful items for sale at amazing prices, and some stunning silent auctions.

The money raised at the event went to benefit Housing Works, our favorite charity! So not only was the event fun and gorgeous, it was good for the wallet and the soul!

Seen at the event were Alex and Simon, from the Real Housewives of New York, Jeisohn Fiala of Snaps, Michael Cress of the New York Sartorialist, and designers Loris Diran, Marisol Deluna and Rod Keenan.

StyleWeek Providence

Joseph and I recently attended an amazing fashion event called “StyleWeek Providence“. Taking place in Providence, Rhode Island, the event was a pure celebration of style and fashion, featuring both local and nation talent such as Jonathan Joseph Peters and Maya Luz, both of Project Runway fame.

We were impressed not only by the fashions we saw, but by the spirit, skill and organization of the whole event! I would definitely say that StyleWeek Providence rivaled many New York Fashion Week shows in terms of glamor and effectiveness! This was an expert event through and through!

Tiffany, one of the contributors to StyleWeek, featured a very interesting contest. They offered 50 Tiffany boxes at $200 a box. 49 of the boxes featured a sterling silver and blue enamel Tiffany key charm. One box, however, featured a Tiffany bag charm. The person “left holding the bag”, so to speak, won an 18k white gold and diamond Tiffany key!

Of course, Joseph and I participated. And although we didn’t win a key, we still walked away as winners, as our contributions went directly to support StyleWeek Providence, which also happens to be a non-profit that helps to support creative talent in the Providence area.
